Started by Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little from the B2/Cafelog blogging software ten years ago, the platform was born out of a desire for an elegant, well-architectured personal publishing system built on PHP and MySQL and licensed under the GPL to a full-fledged blogging platform.

To add glitters to your joy of using the platform, we would like to share with you that your favorite blogging platform turning 10 on this May 27th. And, in order to celebrate the occasion with you, we thought of taking you back to ten years of time and show how WordPress developed.
